The Dzükou Valley Kohima is a fine valley situated at the borders of the states of Nagaland as well as Manipur in the Northeast part of India. This valley is known for the natural environment, seasonal flowers as well as flora & fauna.

Trekking Route
Dzukou Valley Kohima the entry is from the foothills of Viswema and you can travel to the rest house located above Teyozwü hill by hiring a Tata Sumo taxi. From here you can climb forty minutes to the mountain top (Khiyoke). This is where Dzüko commences to reach the main valley, you have to still walk two hours. You can come out of the valley from the same path but if you plan to come back by foot, the Jakhama route is a lesser distance. Also you can reach in five hours of trek from Mount Tempü of Senapati district of Manipur. The new five-hour trek route is opened by MMTA (Manipur Mountaineering and Trekking Association).
Transportation
The Asian Highway 1 and the NH-2 moves through its foothills. The nearby airport is Dimapur Airport at Dimapur located near the Assam border that is about 96 kilometres (60 miles) distance from Viswema and the Bir Tikendrajit International Airport is situated at a distance of 120 kilometres (75 miles) south of Viswema. There is a Helipad just adjacent to the Guest house. The valley is good with exemplary nature and in case you want to rejoice in silence.
